“My brother spent the last weeks of his life at PBL. He wanted to die at home but was too ill to do this. PBL was to me, better than home, because it was possible to do what you would do in your own home, but the stress and worry of being on your own was taken away. The staff were supportive but allowed you choices and anything you asked for, if possible, you could have. They understand, and somebody was always at hand – no waiting at home for district nurses and doctors – the environment was calm and the garden beautiful. It was like a home from home. Thank you so much.”
